Thank you to all the Diamonds and Spurs bidders and buyers at our second annual sale on April 17, 2010. Held at the Owen Brothers Cattle Company Sale Facility, the Owen family went out of their way to provide everyone in attendance with a great experience, from the great food to the comfortable facilities and the wonderful display of cattle. Their Missouri hospitality was evident everywhere!
Deon Gocke, NE, purchased the high-selling Moser consignment, the Lot 3 donor. This perfect-uddered, black blaze-face 5 year-old RIV Black Choctaw x Power Drive daughter had an API of 111. Gocke paid $5000 to own MSR 5521R of 2094 M Choc. Additionally, Gocke purchased the Lot 53 fall bred heifer for $2000. MSR 8319U of 5508 R Hand, was a Ranch Hand daughter out of a Gambler donor in the Moser herd. Sigmon Simmentals, AR, paid $1900 to own one of Moser’s little fall heifer calf consignments, Lot 24. MSR Vanna 9310W was a fancy Invasion daughter whose cow family dates back to 1982 in the Moser cowherd. Paul Admire, MO, and Gaylen Pritchett, MO, were volume buyers of Moser genetics for the day. Moser Ranch females sold into the states of Arkansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Kansas, and averaged $1827/head. Eberspacher Enterprises, Inc managed the sale.
