Moser Cattle in the Winner’s Circle...

Morgan Buttenhoff, Alma, KS, showed “MSR 3132M of 152C Drive” to “Top 10” honors at the Kansas Junior Simmental Association’s Spring Field day on June 6, 2004. This heifer also had many admirers at the AJSA South Central Regional in Oklahoma in late June.

Blake Stromgren, Osage City, KS, (the little guy with all the prizes!), showed this steer bred by Bob Camerlinck, Leonardville, KS, to Championship honors at the June 6, 2004 KJSA Spring Field Day. Sired by the Moser bull “MSR 6017F of 152C Zing”, this calf also went on to be named Reserve Champion steer at the 2004 Osage County Fair. Blake’s father, Gary is shown at the halter. Judge for the Osage County Fair was Danny Davis.

MSR 3061N, sold at the 2003 Kansas Beef Expo to Larry Mach, NE, stood 2nd out of 10 for a purple ribbon at the Saunders County Fair this summer.

Kendra and Kayla Moser showed four steers to blue ribbon honors at the Pottawatomie County Fair in August. 3 of the 4 went Choice, the other making Select+. Kendra's 1/2 Simmental x 1/2 Angus calf made CAB.

Moser Heifers do well at the Kansas Junior Simmental Spring Show!

What: Kansas Junior Simmental Show
When: Sunday, June 7, 2003
Where: Abilene, Kansas
Judge: David Peine, Greeley, KS

In the September Open Heifer Class, three Moser heifers claimed the top three spots out of a field of seven entries. Later, in the Kansas Simmental Futurity “Top 10”, these three heifers were named 4th, 7th, and 10th Overall in the show. We are proud of these Moser heifers and of these young ladies and all the hours of preparation they put in for this show!
