Who is Lisa Moser?

I was born in Marshall County, just north of Lillis, Kansas. Raised on a general crop and livestock farm in Nemaha County, the farm I grew up on has been in my father's family since 1877. Growing up in rural Kansas with deep family roots, the farm is a great place to learn at an early age the value of hard work and work ethic, responsibility, communication and honesty.
I graduated from Kansas State University in December 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree in the College of Agriculture, Animal Sciences & Industry Production Option.
My adult life has been spent in the cattle business, ranching alongside my husband of 44 years this past January 2026. We have 3 children, all married, and we have been blessed with 11 grandchildren, 4 boys and 7 girls.
A bit more about me:
Donated 20+ Border Collie puppies over the last several years to CARES in Concordia, KS. (Canine Assistance Rehabilitation Education Services)

My husband and I are members of the Kansas Livestock Association, American Simmental Association, American Angus Association and the National Cattlemen's Beef Association.

Past Board Member-Livestock & Meat Industry Council, Kansas State University Animal Science Department.

1998-2011: Hospice Volunteer
2011-2020: Hospice Aide at Good Shepherd Hospice House, Manhattan, KS (1 day/week)

I am ProLife, ProAg and ProKansas
I support: The "Value Them Both" amendment to the Kansas Constitution; protecting life from conception through natural death; current sales and property tax exemptions for farm machinery, farm equipment and livestock; the necessity of reliable water rights for Kansas agriculture; insuring our state has water for future generations-both quantity and quality; 2nd Amendment of the Constitution; mitigating rural health care disparities-physical and mental; improving Broadband access; entrepreneurial business initiatives in rural Kansas; Veterans; property tax relief. I believe Agriculture is the backbone of the Kansas economy.

Committees on which I serve at the Statehouse:

Chair-Agriculture & Natural Resources Budget
